... Although I was intending on getting back at a much later time, rather than walking in at midnight. Our trip was cut short after we discovered that there were no hotels in the area we hopped to stay in under $200 a night per-person or so. Regardless, it was still quite fun and we managed to get a good bit of hiking and exploration in regardless, so the trip was far from a bust. Plus, there was snow! It was just hiding on the top of a mountain is all, but it does exist in this region of Japan! :-) Tags: japan hiking travel
