Emergent Future

"Lets go to Tokyo" if you're wondering.

Today kicks off my week of traveling about. Tonight I'm hopping on a bus with my host brother and spending the night heading off to Tokyo where we'll be spending the two days. It should be a good time - he's as much of a geek as I am, which should prove to be entertaining. After arriving, we're going to be spending the day traveling around the city, seeing the sites, and we'll be hitting Akihabara (wikipedia). We're going to be spending the night in a capsule hotel (wikipedia) which is a prospect that strangely facinates me. I'll have internet access there, so expect an update.  After that, we spend the rest of the day in Tokyo and grab another night bus on the way back.

I take Friday off to do some more work (I finished all but one of the papers I need to get done for next week already) and then Saturday and Sunday I hit up Nara and Kyoto with three friends of mine from college - one who's been here with me the whole time, and two who've flown out to spend their winter break in Japan.

It should be a good time.
