information sheet (PDF) Shortly before the 2007 Game Developers Conference, I created this information sheet for a game known as Parallels, being developed by Husky Game Development. This sheet was intended to gain further attention in the game by various developers, including those at Valve. Parallels is a modification of the Source Engine that was initially pitched at the Game Seminar Event several months before the 2007 GDC to great interest. With a focus on intense, first-person action, two teams attempt to capture altars placed across a map to strategically form links between. Parallels features a unique take on the multiplayer First Person Shooter as players battle with each other in the Real World, but also in the Netherworld where they travel to upon death While in the Netheworld, players will be able to cause a variety of effects on the Real World as they continue to battle their foes. These three advertisements were created for the Michigan Technological University's Linux Users Group. Specifically, it was for their yearly 'Install-a-thon' event, in which various people around campus who wish to try Linux meet up to gain help from MTU's LUG to install Linux onto their computers. The first advertisement Created for use as a flyer to be placed strategically around the MTU campus. It was designed so that the words 'Linux', 'installation', and 'easier' would stand out, while giving the main focus to the 'Install-a-thon', as well as the time and place. Effectively, it was intended to be something that could be quickly glanced at to gain the optimum amount of information, while allowing someone to give it a closer look for more information.
The second advertisement Designed for much the same purpose. This one, while containing the same information as the flyer, was displayed during the Michigan Technological University's Film Board weekend movies for three weeks, before 'Get Smart', 'Hancock', and 'Wall-E', as well as the pre-screening of 'Body of Lies'.
The third advertisement Used for table tents and placed within the main cafeterias on campus during the weeks leading up to the event. Tags: linux lug michigan tech filmboard mtu installathon |

This was a small flash movie that I created for Vanguard WarCry for release upon the removal of the Vanguard: Saga of Heroes' of the Non-Disclosure Agreement for its closed beta testing. This small video is a slide show presenting various scenes of the game-world for future-players who had been eager to see more of the world. Tags: warcry telon vanguard |
